On April 4 from 9-12 am, CVTU volunteers will join with the Housatonic Valley Association, the Pootatuck Watershed Association, and other volunteers to complete the planting at the Pootatuck Root Wad project location (just upstream of the confluence with Deep Brook). We will be planting willow shoots to help stabilize stream banks as well as putting protective cages on a few trees to keep the beavers away. 

The project meeting location is on Old Farm Road, near the Newtown dog park on Deep Brook.
