Join friends and fellow anglers from the Mianus and Candlewood Valley chapters for our annual fall fishing trip to the Housatonic River!
Fall is one of the best times to fish the Housey - the temps are cooling off, bugs like caddis and blue wing olives are hatching and the scenery cannot be beat! Not to mention the river has recently been stocked by the state!
We'll meet at Housatonic Meadows State Park - Picnic Area (not the campground) at 10 am to gear up and hit the river! While there is great fishing to be had in the park, feel free to go out on your own and experience the river! Around 1 pm we'll meet back at the park and cook up lunch! We'll have burgers, dogs, and sides.
