Ice fishing with Steve Varga
Do you want to know he ins and outs of ice fishing? If not, you won’t want to miss this month’s chapter meeting at Edmond Town Hall. We will meet again at Edmond Town Hall on Wednesday, December 14th, at 7:00pm for Pizza, Beverages and our monthly raffle. Board Member and retired teacher Steve Varga, will impart his vast ice fishing knowledge on meeting attendees both in-person and on Zoom.

In Steve’s own words he says “I’ve been ice fishing on and off for the past fifty years. In Connecticut the weather tells you when to go or when not to. I started my love for fishing with my Dad when I was five. Ice fishing came along when I was 12. As most of you know when you’re bitten by the fishing bug, there’s never a time when you’re not thinking about fishing”.
At our December CVTU meeting Steve will be covering all aspects of ice fishing, what to wear to keep warm, the gear needed, how to use it, and how to fish on the ice safely.
