February’s chapter meeting will feature Stephen “Pogo Pike” Pogodzienski as our guest speaker. Stephen has been fishing since he could walk and has a huge passion for Pike, Bass, and Musky! While guiding for these species over the last 9 years, he has built a passion for teaching, getting fish in the boat, and making it a fun experience for his clients.
At our February meeting “Pogo Pike” will give us an in depth look at how to catch Pike on the fly. Learn about leader and rod set up, the “strip set”, and how to read the water. Our local waters are loaded with Pike and they are an incredible game fish, especially taken on a fly rod. The flies are big, the rods are big, the fish are big, and the smiles are big.
