Newtown Earth Day – Saturday April 27

By  |
This year we will again have a booth at Newtown Earth Day. The event is scheduled for Saturday April 27th at Newtown Middle School from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. We will need volunteers to help setup, breakdown, and cover the booth during the event. We’ll need someone there at 8:30 am for the setup and then we’ll need to man the booth to explain CVTU’s mission, TIC, our other conservation projects, and hopefully recruit some fishermen/women to become new members.
If we get a group of people to help, we won’t have the need for one person to stay all day. This is a great opportunity to volunteer and engage with the local community that is so important to us all. The volunteer hours will be valuable to our annual grant from TU national. It’s a great event for Newtown and you can read more about it by visiting the website at; https://www.newtownearthday.org/
Please reply to this email if you’re available to help, or reply to Mike at shflyguy.gmail.com.
