January 9, 2019 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Our own Randy Walker will present details of his June trip to the Henry’s Fork & Trouthunter Lodge in Idaho. Randy took his son Ryan and his oldest brother Ed to the famed Henry’s Fork River for Ed’s 80th birthday. This was a bucket list trip for Randy, Ed and Ryan. Randy will share trip pictures of the areas wildlife and fish & flies used, with their accounts of fishing the Firehole in Yellowstone National Park, and the Canyon, Herriman Ranch & lower sections below Mesa Falls of the Henry’s Fork.

The chapter meeting is held the second Wednesday of each month at the Stony Hill Fire House at 59 Stony Hill Road in Bethel. Doors open at 7 p.m. with pizza and drinks and the meeting begins at 7:30.

Chapter Meeting Monthly Fly Exchange — tie your best “Junk”patterns; Mops, Squirmy Worms, Eggs and other junk flies for high water fishing.
The fly exchange is a fun way to see the creativity of our fly tiers and share patterns and flies for your fly box, while contributing to the club community. Fly tiers of all experience are welcomed and encouraged to participate.
Here’s how it works:
  1. Submit eight flies for the exchange at each monthly meeting. Six will go towards the exchange and two will go into a master fly box for the 2019 banquet.
  2. Bring your flies in a small plastic cup or other small container with your name written on it.
  3. Fly recipes or links to videos are optional.
  4. If you don’t tie flies, you can submit store bought flies.
  5. Those that submit flies to the exchange will receive 6 flies at the end of the meeting.

Each Month Will Feature a Different Fly Theme
