Feb 13th: Fly Tying Night at CVTU

By  |

February 13, 2018 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

TIE FLIES, LEARN A NEW PATTERN OR SIMPLY STOP IN FOR A FUN NIGHT OF SOCIALIZING AND FISHING TALK!
There’s something about winter that makes fly tying even more appealing. Whether it’s because your fly boxes are bare from a season on the water, or because with each fly you tie you create a dream of that perfect spring day and the trout that will devour your creation!
Join CVTU members and friends for a fun, informal evening of fly tying. Bring your vise and tie up your favorite patterns, borrow CVTU equipment and learn a new local “go to” fly from our chapter members and guests, or simply stop for a bite to eat, a drink and time to enjoy an evening out with fellow fishing fanatics and conservationists!
The meeting is free and open to members, guests and the general public. It is held at Stony Hill Fire Department, 59 Stony Hill Road, Bethel and starts at 7:30 p.m., but doors open at 7 p.m. for pizza, soda and some good conversation with fellow anglers. Don’t miss out on the raffle too.
NOTE: February’s Chapter Meeting is on Tuesday, Feb. 13 and not the typical Wednesday night to avoid Valentine’s Day conflicts.
