Join CVTU and the Mianus Chapter for an incredible weekend of steelhead fishing at the Douglaston Salmon Run (DSR) on the famous Salmon River in Pulaski, NY. Our chapters have rented three houses situated on a beautiful property with over 2.5 miles of private fishing water where only 65 rods are allowed per day. We’ll have the first crack at the steelhead entering the Salmon River from Lake Ontario as they make their way through the DSR before heading into the public waters upstream.

dave-steelhead-275pxThe cost of the weekend is $275 per person and includes two nights of lodging and three days of fishing (half day passes on Friday and Sunday and a full day fishing pass on Saturday).  Dave Shaw – an expert steelheader and super-friendly CVTU member – will serve as this trip’s host and share his knowledge and insights into steelhead fishing for those who are new to the river.

Bring your kids, friends and fishing buddies for what is sure to be a memorable outing! With only 14 spots available, we expect this trip to fill up fast, so register now!

Note: The DSR houses we have rented include private rooms with shared bathrooms and full kitchen facilities. Some bedrooms have single beds while other rooms share beds. Anglers will be given their choice of room and sleeping arrangement based on the order in which they register and pay.
