December 14th: Vermont Trophy Trout Fishing with John Springer

By  |

December 14, 2016 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Join us for a presentation by Connecticut angler John Springer as he talks in-depth about some of Vermont’s best trophy trout fishing, with a focus on the Black River and the Walloomsac River. These are both specially-designated rivers with regulations focusing on providing expanded fishing opportunities and the possibility of targeting larger trout. John will walk us through the locations he likes to fish, the best times to be on the rivers, and the flies that he finds successful on these beautiful fisheries.

The meeting is free and open to members, guests and the general public. It is held at Stony Hill Fire Department, 59 Stony Hill Road, Bethel and starts at 7:30 p.m. but doors open at 7 p.m. for pizza, soda and some good conversation with fellow anglers. Don’t miss out on the raffle too.
