Update: One spot remaining for Delaware River fishing trip

April 28, 2016 to May 1, 2016

A quick update on the Delaware River trip for April 28th to May 1st — we have one spot remaining for our annual pilgrimage to fish the West Branch of the Delaware River up in the Catskills of New York state. If you are interested in the last spot to fish this fantastic tailwater fishery, please email or call Tony Ballato at 203-740-8636 to reserve your spot. It is a ten-angler trip on this trip, which we’ve strategically timed to coincide (hopefully) with the Hendrickson hatch. Lodging is at the Delaware River Club near Hancock, NY in two-bedroom suites, and each person gets his own bedroom. Price on the lodging runs $80/person per night plus taxes, and we have five rooms booked for the nights of April 28th through April 30th.

We also have five float trips reserved for Friday, April 29th if you want to float the river. We’ve found that Friday is the best day to float because the river can become crowded on the weekend at this time of year. The float trips are $495 for two anglers, though of course you can choose to wade fish instead if that’s your choice. The Delaware River Club is located right across the street from the river, on prime fishing water, and guests of the lodge have private access to this stretch of river, which is no small thing.

For those of you who haven’t fished the West Branch of the Delaware before, it is a beautiful, challenging tailwater river with large, wild trout who rise to dry flies. This is a great chance to fish it with some experienced fellow CVTU anglers who possess a wealth of knowledge about this great fishery.
