February 10th Meeting: Movie Night — “Raising The Ghost”
• February 10, 2016 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm
Join us on February 10th for a special Movie Night at our monthly chapter meeting!
We will watch “Raising the Ghost” a powerful and beautiful documentary about dry fly fishing for wild steelhead on the Skeena River in British Columbia! Click here to watch a 5-minute preview of the film.
Beyond stunning scenery, great cinematography and incredible fishing action – the film delves deeply into the threats to the wild steelhead of the Pacific Northwest. We encourage you to learn more about Trout Unlimited’s Wild Steelhead Initiative and the Wild Steelheaders United movement – important efforts geared at working to save wild steelhead and their habitat.
In the dead of winter, this is the perfect time to come out and join other “Chromers” for a fun night of food, fishing and a great film! There will be plenty of time for mingling and meeting other area anglers, talking about your big catches of 2015 and the plans you have for fishing in 2016!
The meeting is free and open to members, guests and the general public. It is held at Stony Hill Fire Department, 59 Stony Hill Road, Bethel and starts at 7:30 p.m. but doors open at 7 p.m. for pizza, soda and some good conversation with fellow anglers. Don’t miss out on the raffle too!
