Jan 13th: Rob Streeter – Winter and spring steelheading on Ontario tribs

By  |

January 13, 2016 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Fly fishing authority and author Rob Streeter joins us to present strategies and techniques for winter and spring steelhead fishing on the tributaries of Lake Ontario. Tributaries such as the Cattaraugus, Canadaway, Chautauqua, and Eighteen Mile Creek, plus numerous other smaller tribs of Lake Ontario offer an alternative to the crowded Salmon River steelhead fishery, which is probably the one most-visited by Connecticut anglers.

Rob Streeter is the Outdoor Columnist for the Albany Times Union newspaper, and in addition to being a frequent contributor to several magazines and websites, he’s also an employee of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, where he works in the Division of Water.

The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. but doors open at 7 p.m. for pizza, soda and some good conversation with fellow anglers. Don’t miss out on the raffle too!
