CVTU members landing big fish & first fish!
The late spring is certainly a great time to get out fishing and CVTU members are out doing their share. The team took a trip to the Little Juniata in central Pennsylvania and John Q put a nice fish in the net. That same week, Ross and Steve were fishing the Catskills – the Beaverkill, Willowemoc and Delaware. Ross managed only one fish while on the Delaware but it was twenty-one inches long. Very nice!
Probably more significant that a big fish is a first fish. Bill Bennett caught his first trout on a dry fly during the trip to the Little J. I still get a thrill from seeing a fish hit a dry and I can still remember the first trout I caught on a dry — a six inch Brown. Congrats to Bill!
